Three mounting families. One design framework.
Every Petropedam centrifugal pump falls into one of three API 610 configuration families, distinguished by how the impeller is supported and how the pump is mounted relative to the process. Choosing the right family is the first step in sizing a pump correctly for your service.
Overhung (OH1–OH5)
The impeller is mounted outboard, beyond the bearing housing, for a compact footprint and straightforward access to wetted parts during maintenance. The standard choice for general refinery and process service.
Between Bearings (BB1–BB5)
The impeller sits between two bearings, giving superior radial support and shaft stability for high flow, high pressure and multistage duty — the family of choice for pipeline, injection and heavy refinery service.
Vertically Suspended (VS1, VS4, VS6)
Mounted vertically with the impeller submerged in the process fluid — sump, wet-pit or column-mounted — ideal where suction conditions are poor or floor space is limited, such as tank farms and cooling water intakes.
